Parish and Community News




Baptism Celebrated: 
Jacob Eric Shively, son of Jesse and Tiffany Shively, was baptized by Fr. Paul Beach after Mass on Sunday, October 23rd – many blessings to Jacob, his parents, godparents and family.

Bloodmobile: 
Consider donating the “Gift of Life” – the Bloodmobile unit will be at First Baptist on Tuesday, Nov. 1st. 

November 1st Collection: 
Due to a communication problem, the stewardship envelope for All Saints Day was not included in your box. A special All Saints envelope can be found in the back of church, or as an insert in this bulletin.

“Poor Box” Donation:
After covering the expenses from the Fall Chili Supper, $145.64 was donated to the Parish “Poor Box,” which was split between the Spencer Co. Ministerial Association and the Multi-Purpose Community Action Agency, both of which provide assistance to local families in need.

Nursing Home Visitation: 
A group of parishioners meet each Tuesday at 10:30 AM to visit and pray with the residents at Signature Health Care Center. If you would like to be a part of this ministry, contact Carl Fahringer.
