Around 60 ex-Anglican pastors from the United Kingdom will be ordained as Catholic priests this month, many of them during the commemoration of Pentecost. They will serve in the new Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham established in the United Kingdom to welcome Anglicans to the Catholic faith.
They will be welcomed by the three former Anglican bishops Keith Newton, John Broadhurst and Andrew Burnham who joined the Ordinariate last January and have received the title of monsignor in the Catholic Church.
