She was the former Cathy Pusey, who most recently was employed by Louisville Oncology and had worked for Spectra-Care for over 15 years. Cathy was a member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church and the Kentucky Nurses Association. She was also a former member of St. Edward Catholic Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Jack and Tilly Pusey; and twin granddaughters, Hope and Faith Collins.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Jeff A. Hyman; daughters, Rachel Wethington (Todd) and Jill Collins (David); son, Jeffrey Hyman (Holly); grandchildren, Bailey, Britton, Reece, Landon, Audrey, Emma and a granddaughter soon to be born, Max Catherine; brothers, James N. Pusey (Marian) and Paul E. Pusey (Barbara); a half sister, Chloe Pusey and a half brother, Scott Pusey.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 20, 2012 at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 5915 Outer Loop, with entombment to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be noon - 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home-Jeffersontown 10600 Taylorsville Road.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Catholic Charities in her memory. Online condolences may be left atwww.ratterman.com.
