"Angels and Saints at Ephesus" by The Benedictines of Mary

They may not be as swinging as Deloris' singing nuns in the 1992 hit movie Sister Act, but the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles did top the Billboard charts last year with their release of Advent at Ephesus. Their next CD, called "Angels and Saints at Ephesus" is one awesome album! It's a collection of 17 English and Latin songs done a capella for the year-round feasts of the saints and angels.

The nuns are members of a contemplative order which was founded in 1995. They live in the Priory of Our Lady of Ephesus, thus the title of their CD's Mother Cecilia Snell, their prioress, is a member of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, playing the French horn.

This CD is a beautiful collection of heavenly sounds that come forth from the holy hearts of the Benedictines of Mary. They were recorded in their contemplative environment and not in a studio, which compliments their sweet sound.
