Parish News

If you wish to make a contribution to the Archdiocese for the Military Services, you may place it in the marked envelope which was included in last week's bulletin.  There are others available in the back of church.  Checks can be made payable to All Saints Catholic Church, and we will prepare one check from the contributions and send it to the Archdiocese of Louisville to forward.  If you missed the information, this Archdiocese for the Military Services' mission is to provide the sacraments and spiritual support to the Catholics in the armed forces, VA Medical Centers and military academies.  This Archdiocese receives no government funding and relies on private donations.

A representative from Spencer County Middle School called to invite Veterans and his or her spouse to a "Pancakes for Patriots" breakfast on Monday, November 11th, from 9-10 AM at the Middle School.  You may call the School if you have any questions.

On the weekend of November 16-17th, we have a second collection for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD), which was founded to end the cycle of poverty in America by funding organizations that help individuals help themselves.  With a tradition of improving education, housing, and community economic development, CCHD continues to make a positive impact in communities nationwide.  Defend human dignity and help take poverty off the map through your generous contribution.  There are envelopes for this collection in the back of church as well, and you will see one in your boxed set of stewardship envelopes.  Your check, again, should be made payable to All Saints.  Information about the CCHD can be found on the Open Prayer Day bulletin insert from Catholic Charities.
