This weekend, November 23-24th, we will take up a special collection after communion, for assistance to the people of the Philippines after the devastating typhoon. The US Catholic Conference of Bishops and Catholic Charities will assist with the relief efforts. If you wish, you may send a donation directly to Catholic Charities, Attn: Typhoon Relief, 2911 So. Fourth Street, Louisville, KY 40208.
Please remember in your prayers the family of Joan Stoler, sister of our parishioner Tom (Julie) Maciejewski, who passed away Thursday evening in Michigan. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
The Mass on Thanksgiving Day will be at 9:00 AM (not 8:30) and you are invited to bring the bread and wine you may be serving at your meal for a special blessing. The collection that day will go to the Covenant Churches' Giving Hands-Loving Hearts Benevolent Fund, to be used for the needy here in Spencer County. The Parish Office will be closed on Thursday and Friday.
All are invited to the Religious Education Program's Advent Family Session on Sunday, beginning at 9:45, in the Parish Hall. Children must be accompanied by an adult - and all members of the family are welcome to attend.
