This weekend, December 21/22nd, our parish will take up a collection for the Covenant Churches’ local assistance fund, Giving Hands, Loving Hearts Benevolent Fund. You may place your donation in the Spencer County Outreach envelope in your boxed set, or place it in a envelope marked “Giving Hands, Loving Hearts.” Please be generous to our neighbors in need. The Covenant Churches are All Saints, Taylorsville United Methodist and First Christian Church of Taylorsville/Disciples of Christ.
Beginning this weekend, also, we will be collecting cash for Christmas gifts, to be given to the clergy who serve our parish - Fr. Dale, Deacon Gerry, Deacon Carl and Deacon Adam. Please see Gerard Hinton, LaVielle Cecil, Bob Searcy or Rob Richards to make a contribution, if you wish. We request only cash, so that we do not need to process checks.
You may bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to the Toys for Tots collection- the deadline is this weekend and Bruce Kapfhammer is the contact.
Archdiocesan Safe Environment Training will be held at All Saints on Monday, December 16, 6:30pm, in the Parish Hall. Any volunteer working in areas where children are present is required to attend this mandatory training if you have not yet attended one.
