News from the Parish Pffice

We've had two requests for prayers this week.  Terry Sanders, the sister of parishioner Dian Gordon, is undergoing heart surgery today (Friday) and we ask that you keep Terry, her family and her surgical team in your prayers.  Prayers were also requested for the family and friends of David Howley, who was buried on Monday.  Mr. Howley, who died unexpectedly, was a member of the Oldham County police department and was a colleague of parishioner Gina Vaile-Nelson, her husband and other family members.

You are reminded that Archbishop Joseph Kurtz will be celebrant at our 11:30 Sunday Mass and will have a special blessing for our Prayer Garden immediately after Mass.  The blessing service itself will not be lengthy, and it will be followed by a potluck meal in our Parish Hall.  We encourage you to attend and celebrate this memorable occasion with the Archbishop and our parishioners, too.

At 2PM, you are invited to participate/assist with the Ecumenical prayer service at Signature Health Care - it's All Saints' turn to lead this service.  Contact Deacon Carl if you have any questions.

On Memorial Day, Monday, May 26th, Fr. Dale will celebrate Mass at 9:00 AM  at our historic St. Benedict Cemetery, located off Miller Road near Lighthouse Baptist Church.  It's a beautiful cemetery and the resting place of our Catholic ancestors here in Spencer County.  If it rains, Fr. Dale will celebrate Mass in our church.  The parish office will be closed on Monday for the holiday.
