News from the Parish Office

Good Morning,

The deadline to return gifts for those who selected a Wish list from the Giving Tree is Sunday, December 13th.  Those gifts need to be wrapped and marked with the number of the list you chose, and either bagged or boxed together.  The Toys for Tots drive ends on Sunday as well - new, unwrapped toys, books and/or games can be left in the collection boxes outside the Parish Offices or in the Parish Hall.  This Friday is the deadline if you wish to make a monetary donation to Making Spirits Bright - those need to be dropped off with David Young at the Tea Cup.

We ask that you pray for Robert "Bob" Miller, the father of our parishioner Dianne Vowels, who has been hospitalized since Saturday with pneumonia and other complications. Also, Robert Black who will have a heart cath this morning at Norton's Hospital in Louisville.

Good News! Just heard from Diane and she said that Robert had two stints placed in the main artery of the heart. There was very little damage to the heart and the function is good.  Keep them in prayer and thanks. Friday morning at 11am from Father Dale

Parish youth are collecting ponchos, men's belts, razors and shaving cream for the St. John's Center in Louisville, and non-perishable food for the Spencer County food pantry.  Contact Laura Zoeller or Becky Culver if you have any questions about these efforts.  Lastly, MS student and parishioner Yessenia Verastegui is collecting school supplies to take to three schools in Mexico - those can be left in the collection box outside the Parish Office.

Advent Blessings,
Parish Staff
