I was reading some of the comments on the Haley Ryan Memorial Page on Facebook this evening. One was from a first responder named Gary who was at the scene of the accident in Alabama last Friday night.
Gary wrote:
"From the firemen and EMS personnel here in Alabama that responded to the scene that night we would like to give the Ryan family our love and prayers. Hayley will always have a special place in our hearts. For most of us that night has been hard, a lot there that night have kids around the same age. We all wish that there was more that we could have done. We are very sorry for your loss and we will continue to pray for the recovery of Julie and Rick."
I cannot imagine how hard it was for them. We all owe a debt of thanks to those men and women who put their lives on the line everyday for us. Please keep the first responders and their families in your prayers, too. DG
