Note from Parish Office

Good Morning,

We confirmed this morning that the Bennett family would like All Saints to provide a bereavement meal after tomorrow's funeral for their mother, Joan.  We need some assistance to help set up, serve, and clean-up afterwards, as well as food to serve.  If you can bring a dish, or help at the meal, please call Mary Akins at 477-2529.  The funeral is 10:30 and the burial is in Louisville, so we are estimating that the meal would be about 1:30 PM, and we are estimating about 50 to attend.  Your help would be appreciated.

Also, please keep the Bennett family in your prayers.

A reminder that RCIA is meeting this Sunday, but those children in RE will not be meeting.  The Knights of Columbus will be serving a chicken dinner on Sunday from 12:30-3:00 and invite you to attend.  St. Francis Xavier is hosting a concert of sacred music with the Mid Kentucky Choir from St. Catharine College also on Sunday at 2:00PM - it is free and open to the public.

If you have not yet signed up for "Why Catholic?" - the faith-sharing program which begins in Lent, we encourage you to do so this weekend.  The facilitators are Becky Hornung, Cheryl Bowling, Bob and Tina Searcy, Becky Culver and Mari Wertz, and there are a variety of times and days of the week from which to choose.  Catechists can earn continuing education credit by attending these sessions.  Please contact the Parish Office, or Carl Fahringer, if you have any questions.

Lastly, if you have any news-announcements-recipes to add to the next newsletter, please email me or call me to let me know - your parish family is interested in you!

Blessings,
Diane Black
