Deacon Pat Wright appointed Deacon Director, Archdiocese of Louisville
Archbishop Kurtz announced today that Deacon Pat Wright is selected as the next Deacon Director to succeed Deacon Bob Hall who is retiring. Deacon Pat’s appointment and Deacon Bob’s retirement are effective June 22, 2011.
Deacon Pat is a native of Louisville, KY and attended St. Louis Bertrand School and St. Xavier. He was ordained a Deacon August 18, 1990 and was assigned to the Cathedral of the Assumption until June 16, 2010 when he began his role as Pastoral Administrator at St. Boniface. He retired after 42 years working in data processing/IT, the last 21 years at Brown-Forman Corporation. He and his wife Sandy have 4 grown children and 7 grandchildren. They enjoy spending time with family, traveling, and gathering with friends.
In addition to his other duties, Deacon Pat is the current President-elect of the National Diaconate Institute of Continuing Education at Xavier University, Cincinnati, OH.
Congratulations are offered to both Pat & Sandy and Bob & Cheri Hall.
