Holy Thursday Pilgrimage

The tradition of visiting seven churches on Holy Thursday is an ancient practice, probably originating in Rome, where early pilgrims visited the seven major basilicas as a penance.

You are invited to continue the tradition this Lent by embarking on a pilgrimage among seven Louisville parishes on Holy Thursday, April 21. Google Maps itinerary available here with suggested Scripture readings.

5:30pm Mass with Adoration: St. Louis Bertrand. 1104 S 6th St, 40203.

7:30 PM Adoration: St. Boniface. 531 E Liberty St, 40202.
8:00 PM Adoration: St. Martin of Tours. 639 S Shelby St, 40202.
8:30 PM Adoration: Cathedral of the Assumption. 433 S 5th St, 40202.
Note: Free parking available in the 5th Street PARC garage just past the Cathedral after 6pm.

9:00 PM Adoration: Our Lady of Lourdes. 508 Breckinridge Ln, 40207.
9:30 PM Adoration: Holy Trinity. 501 Cherrywood Rd, 40207.
10:00 PM Adoration: Holy Spirit. 3345 Lexington Rd, 40206.
