I found the following email sent last Friday by Diane Black in my spam folder this evening concerning Mr. Neel's death. I am unsure why it went to the spam folder:
Good Morning,
The newspaper this morning includes the obituary for our former parishioner, Paul Neel, Sr. Mr. Neel was one of our oldest parishioners and had been a resident of Christopher East Nursing Home. Many of you may remember him as a "faithful witness," as Fr. Scott talked about last night. Mr. Neel most often attended Sunday Mass, entering Church with one of his family members assisting him, using a walker and connected to oxygen. He was honored with other "elder" parishioners by the Knights of Columbus at a dinner a few years ago. Visitation for Mr. Neel will be on Saturday from 1-9 at Highlands Funeral Home; his funeral will be at 9 AM at St. Therese Church.
May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, rest in eternal peace.
Let us continue to pray for each other,
Diane
Please pray for the repose of Mr. Neel's soul and strength and comfort for his family
