As shown in their video, Child Fund International consider mothers as the organization's "unofficial partners in improving the lives of children." The organization also launched a "Gifts of Love & Hope" catalog, which features charitable gifts that celebrate motherhood.
On its website, the nonproft explains the plight of women the world over:
"Of course, motherhood extends far beyond childbirth — who was it who said, “All mothers are working mothers”? In developing countries, where unemployment is extremely high, mothers must often become entrepreneurs simply to ensure that their children have enough food to eat."
