CASSIE McCONNELL, 17, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, May 21 2011. She was a junior at Mercy Academy where she was a member of the swim team. She was a gymnast for 10 years at Flip City Gymnastics and a member of Holy Family Church.
Survivors include her parents, Michael McConnell and Laura McConnell (Polson); sister, Ashley Michelle McConnell; niece, Riley Paige McConnell; her grandparents Eugene and Winona Polson; along with extended family and friends.
Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation: 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison at Barret avenues.
Expressions of sympathy to the family in care of the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
Please pray for the repose of Cassie's soul and strength and peace for her family, friends and the Mercy Academy family. Cassie is the niece of Saint Francis Xavier, Mount Washington parishioner Peggy Edwards.
