Parish News

Good Afternoon,

Please remember in your prayers the families of Rexanne Ruckriegel and Doris Robards:

Mrs. Ruckriegel passed away on Wednesday, May 25th, and is the sister-in-law of our parishioner Janet Lindsey.  Her funeral was held on Sunday at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown.

Mrs. Robards is the mother of parishioner Jan Kehne, and the grandmother and great-grandmother of parishioners Melissa, Landon and Lawson Pund and Stacy and McKenzie Bell.  She passed away on Saturday, May 28th after a long illness.  The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Robards are as follows:  Visitation from 2-8pm on Wednesday, June 1st at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, Preston Highway at Brooks Road, with members of the All Saints Council of the Knights of Columbus leading the Rosary at 7pm; and Funeral at 10am on Thursday, June 2nd at St. Athanasius Church, 5915 Outer Loop, Louisville, of which Mrs. Robards was a founding member.

We ask you as well to continue to pray for the family of Kimberly Carrico Zepernick, the daughter and sister of parishioners Ray Carrico and Alicia Fackler, whose funeral service was last Friday.

May their souls, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Please pray for a complete recovery for our parishioner Marilyn Stop, who suffered a heart attack and had emergency heart catheterization surgery last Friday. Marilyn, her husband Jerry and her mother Rosemary Steva will be moving to North Carolina this week as planned, with the help of Marilyn's sons and their families.  Marilyn spoke of the peace she felt after Fr. Dale and our community blessed Rosemary and her a week ago on Sunday, May 22nd, and she is certain that your prayers on her behalf helped her through her medical emergency - as well as through the days ahead with their impending move.  She thanks you for your prayerful support.

Lastly, the K of C business meeting has been changed to 7pm on Thursday, June 2nd, in the Basement space because of the prayer service for Mrs. Robards on Wednesday.

Blessings,
