Rocky Walters, who was in RCIA to enter the Church at the Easter Vigil, was killed today when a slab of granite fell on her at work.
She was a wonderful woman, and this will hurt the entire body of Christ, but pray especially for her husband, Roger, their grown children and her parents.
Roger just lost his mother a couple of weeks ago.
God give us strength where we have none.
A touching comment left on the blog from one of Rocky's customers at KBR Manufacturing:
I too was a customer of KBR and had a 2nd appt with Rocky Monday night. I was devasted upon arriving to hear the tragic news. I liked Rocky the moment I met her. I thought that if we lived in the same city, she is someone I would like to be friends with. I have wept and prayed for her family throughout the day. My prayer is that God will give her husband, children, and parents the peace and even joy that comes with KNOWING that she is with Him experiencing complete happiness. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. This life is so temporary. You will be with her soon.
